We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to lead our mental health facility. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our patients. This role requires a strong leader with a commitment to patient care, staff development, and program improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Clinical Oversight:**- Provide leadership and direction for clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.- Ensure the integration of evidence-based practices in treatment protocols.
-Make sure clinicians are staying up to date with credit hours.
-Help find supervision for not yet licensed providers.
-Manage pay scales and payroll by sending needed info and reports to the accountant.
-Take the role of doing new patient intakes to ensure they are directed to the proper provider.
-Take on your own case loads as time permits.
2. **Program Development:**- Design and implement innovative mental health programs that meet the needs of diverse populations.- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance service accessibility and quality.
3. **Staff Management:**- Recruit, train, and supervise clinical staff, including therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses.- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for professional development.
4. **Quality Assurance:**- Monitor clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, utilizing data to inform decisions and improve services.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards. With a strong emphasis on Medicaid.
5. **Budgeting and Resource Management:**- Assist in the development and management of the clinical budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.- Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and program funding applications.
6. **Community Engagement:**- Serve as a liaison between the facility and the community, promoting awareness of mental health issues and available services.- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to reduce stigma and improve mental health literacy.
7. **Crisis Management:**- Provide strategic direction during crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.- Develop and implement crisis intervention protocols and training for staff.
**Qualifications:**
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.- Active licensure in Idaho as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, Psychologist).- Minimum of [5] years of clinical experience, with at least [3] years in a leadership role in a mental health setting.- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and best practices.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and community partners.
