East Hills Veterinary Clinic is a locally and privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Loveland, Ohio. We are part of the Cincinnati Family Vet family, alongside Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.

What You’ll Do
Depending on your experience and interests, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments and patient care
- Collecting thorough patient histories and communicating with pet owners
- Drawing blood, collecting diagnostic samples, and running in-house laboratory tests
- Placing IV catheters and administering treatments as directed by a veterinarian
- Preparing patients for surgery and dentistry
- Monitoring anesthesia and supporting patient recovery
- Performing dental scaling and obtaining dental radiographs
- Completing surgical and dental admissions and discharges
- Providing compassionate client education
- Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
- Practicing safe, Fear Free handling of dogs and cats
- Caring for surgical, dental, laboratory, and treatment equipment
- Supporting teammates and helping the hospital run smoothly

- Is a Registered Veterinary Technician in Ohio or is eligible for registration

Veterinary experience is required. Familiarity with AVImark and Fear Free techniques is helpful, but we are willing to support the right person as they grow.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift, carry, or move up to 40 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform hands-on duties throughout the workday
- Safely handle animals that may bite or scratch
- Work around anesthetic agents, medications, biological materials, and controlled substances
- Operate veterinary equipment and complete computer-based documentation
