Location: East Haven Academy
Responsibilities: Building substitutes provide instructional coverage for staff absences. Building substitutes will be assigned to a particular school for the entire school year.

A Bachelors Degree is required, CT certification is preferred.

Per CT State guidelines, if you do not have a Bachelor's degree then a waiver can be submitted if you meet the following criteria:

At least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have had experience working with school aged children

This position is a 10 month position. Qualified candidates will be paid $140.00/day for the 2025-2026 School Year.
