Keyboard Player / Vocalist (Part-Time)

Overview

We are seeking a gifted and spirit-led Keyboard Player who can also sing to support and enhance our worship experience. This individual will play a key role in leading a multi-generational congregationin authentic, engaging, and Christ-centered worship.

The ideal candidate is musically skilled, spiritually grounded, and experienced in gospel (traditional and contemporary) music, with a heart for ministry and a sensitivity to the movement of the Spirit during worship.

Duties

• Provide keyboard accompaniment for Sunday worship services and select special services (e.g., holidays, revivals, funerals, special programs)
• Serve as a vocalist/worship support, including leading songs when needed
• Collaborate with the pastor, worship leader, and music ministry to plan music selections
• Support and rehearse with choir or praise team (if applicable)
• Demonstrate flexibility in flow of worship (responsive to prayer, altar moments, and transitions)
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and preparedness for all services and rehearsals

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience playing keyboard in a church or ministry setting
• Ability to sing confidently (lead and/or harmonize)
• Strong familiarity with gospel music traditions (traditional, contemporary, and praise & worship)
• Ability to play by ear and/or read music (preferred but not required)
• Sensitivity to diverse worship styles that engage a multi-generational congregation
• Dependable, collaborative, and spiritually mature
• A personal commitment to Christian faith and values

Schedule & Commitment

Pay: $200.00 per week
