Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate and maintain concrete mixers and other heavy construction equipment to ensure the timely delivery of ready-mix concrete and aggregate materials to various construction sites. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth operations, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks, contributing directly to the successful completion of civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Transport concrete, aggregates and other construction. supplies to designated construction sites efficiently and reliably
- Perform routine maintenance checks on construction machinery and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal operations
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols during vehicle operation and site activities
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans accurately while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as concrete mixers, dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment on construction sites
- Mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with construction machinery maintenance, paving equipment operation, concrete finishing techniques, and asphalt paving processes
- Knowledge of safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and site-specific safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and material mixing ratios
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety compliance
