What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Bus Driver position at East Gibson School Corporation?
East Gibson School Corporation is seeking substitute school bus drivers.
Substitute drivers will become familiar with multiple routes as needed to meet the day-to-day transportation needs of our students. These routes can include morning and afternoon standard routes in a Class B bus, morning, mid-day, and afternoon routes in a special needs school bus, or school-day routes in an activity van. Drivers are expected to be able to perform basic safety standards, such as the ability to safely exit a Class B school bus through the rear emergency exit and operate all components of a school bus.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Indiana CDL with school bus endorsements
- Possess or obtain an ASM completion certificate
- Pass a background screen, including traffic violations
- Pass a DOT drug screen
