Duties
- Open and close the store according to company procedures, ensuring security protocols are followed
- Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and product information to enhance customer satisfaction
- Supervise daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and stocking
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service
- Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and register operations accurately
- Oversee inventory control and assist with purchasing decisions to optimize stock levels
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions for new hires and existing staff
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve store productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities within the store
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience in retail or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management software
- Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock control
- Ability to handle customer service issues professionally and efficiently
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, and sales management principles
- Experience with marketing initiatives and promotional planning is advantageous
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
