Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial truck and trailers. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment across different manufacturing types. The Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of systems and providing exceptional field service to customers. A valid driver’s license is required.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial truck and trailer parts.
- Diagnose issues.
- Conduct equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Execute welding, mechanical repairs, and component replacements as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during all field service activities to prevent hazards.
- Document work performed accurately in service reports and communicate findings effectively to supervisor.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar field service role within construction or automotive maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with equipment repair including welding and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and field service operations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in various environments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities.
- Use company provided truck and tools. No personal tools are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
