- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until emergency services arrive.
- Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism, de-escalating disputes to maintain order.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures.
- Handle animal-related incidents responsibly, including animal control and care when required.
- Maintain accurate records through detailed report writing for all incidents, patrols, and investigations.
- Support law enforcement activities by collaborating with local agencies on criminal investigations or emergencies.

- Apply knowledge of immigration law in relevant situations involving individuals with immigration concerns or violations.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage stressful situations confidently.
- Training or certification in first aid, CPR, surveillance techniques, criminal investigation procedures, conflict management, animal handling, or security operations is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Knowledge of Maryland’s laws regarding special police authority and jurisdictional procedures.
- Experience driving patrol vehicles safely in various conditions is advantageous.
