Role Overview
The Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for maintaining event energy, supporting league operations, and ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for players and guests. You will work closely with team captains, event staff, and media teams to bring each night to life.
Key Responsibilities
Event Hosting & Announcing
Serve as host or announcer during matches, introducing players, teams, and highlights while keeping the crowd engaged. Support live commentary for featured games and maintain a lively event atmosphere.
Team Coordination
Communicate with team captains to confirm registrations and rosters. Assist with match schedules, player check-ins, and overall league flow. Help organize brackets and ensure matches run on time.
Tickets & Invoices
Confirm ticket purchases and league entries. Track registrations, payments, and assist with verifying invoices and vendor coordination. Support event check-in for players and guests.
Team Merchandise
Coordinate team merchandise including jerseys, hats, and league gear. Assist with distribution during events and track inventory levels.
Social Media & Community Engagement
Capture event highlights and post engaging content across social platforms. Encourage players to participate in the Doc U Series and help promote upcoming leagues and tournaments.
Community Experience
Create a welcoming and high-energy environment that encourages friendly competition and connection.
Qualifications
Experience in event hosting, sports coordination, or live entertainment is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Candidates should be comfortable engaging with crowds and creating social media content. A passion for sports, events, and community building is highly valued.
