Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items based on color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
- Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies, notifying management when reordering is needed
- Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and laundry equipment
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel operations
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment techniques
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads safely
