East Coast Demolition is seeking an experienced Interior & Selective Demolition Supervisor to lead our Interior & Selective Demolition crew. This position is responsible for supervising the daily operations of an assigned crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, organization, and field experience. The Supervisor will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendent, General Contractors, and other company supervisors to coordinate project activities and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the assigned Interior & Selective Demolition crew.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Operate and oversee the safe operation of small equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and customers throughout each project.
- Work alongside other field supervisors to coordinate manpower, scheduling, and project needs.
- Communicate with project management regarding job progress, scheduling, manpower, and material needs.
- Manage the department's tools, equipment, inventory, and service trucks.
- Monitor jobsite productivity, quality, housekeeping, and overall project performance.
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining positive relationships with customers and project partners.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising interior and selective demolition projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of demolition methods, construction practices, and OSHA safety standards.
- Experience operating small construction equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a background that allows for obtaining base access
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
