What You’ll Do
- As a budtender, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while upholding the standards that make ECC a trusted name in the industry.
- Provide outstanding customer service and guide guests through product selection with warmth, professionalism, and integrity.
- Verify customer eligibility in accordance with state regulations and ECC compliance standards.
- Accurately build orders, process transactions, and navigate our POS system with attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of ECC products, strains, and effects, confidently sharing information and recommendations.
- Support daily retail operations including phone inquiries, inventory counts, restocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation.
- Assist with menu updates, product displays, and in-store educational materials.
- Follow all security protocols and compliance procedures at all times.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, including daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with Retail Leadership to achieve sales goals and support brand initiatives.

Schedule & Availability
- Our dispensary is open 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
- This role requires a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Weekend availability is essential.

Pay range: $18 per hour
Required skills
- A minimum of 1 years in a customer service role in a retail or hospitality environment
- Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
- A minimum of a High School diploma is required
- Intermediate-level math skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
- Strong computer-based skills
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Personal experience with cannabis
Desired skills
- Analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
- Proven expertise and experience to accurately manage a register
- Experience training new hires in a previous job
- Experience as a “key holder” in a retail environment
- Knowledge of the state’s cannabis regulations
