What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Clerk position at East Coast Appliance?
Responsibilities:
Administrative
- Answers phones
- Prepares reports
- Creates schedules
- Processes orders
Warehouse Shipping and Receiving
- Schedules FTL and LTL Truckload deliveries
- Verifies accuracy of received items against BOLs, Receiving Reports, POs or Invoices
- Examines and inspects products for defects and damages
- Prepares and maintains documentation and reports of outgoing shipments
- Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures, and shipping/receiving processes
- Knowledge of distribution center operations and stock management principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using computers and software

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
