Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, and food handling areas
- Assist with food safety practices, proper sanitation, and adherence to health regulations
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment in a quick service or fast food setting
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, retail store, or grocery environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills related to cash handling and retail math
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous roles involving serving, , or food handling will be beneficial for understanding restaurant operations
