Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by properly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
• Care for floors through specialized floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, carpet cleaning, and stain removal to keep surfaces looking their best.
• Manage custodial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while respecting their privacy and preferences.
• Follow safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management is a plus.
• Familiarity with cooking or light meal preparation can be an added benefit for some roles.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $11.50 - $12.50 per hour
