Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop IEPs tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on early intervention strategies
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills in children with diverse needs
- Collaborate closely with families and teachers to ensure cohesive patient care
- Document progress meticulously through detailed reports and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings or early intervention programs is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans based on individual needs
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and pediatric health conditions
