  • Partner with families using a strength-based, family-centered approach
  • Connect families to internal EBCAP programs and community-based resources
  • Complete required documentation and assessment tools accurately and on time

Program & Team Support

  • Serve as a senior support and point of consultation for Family Visitors
  • Assist with staff orientation and training on program tools and expectations
  • Support referral assignments and eligibility assessments as needed
  • Attend advisory group meetings and assist with reports as needed
  • Act as a “home visiting ambassador,” helping families choose the program that best fits their needs

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Participate in reflective supervision, team meetings, and continuous quality improvement activities
  • Collaborate across EBCAP programs to ensure coordinated, holistic care
  • Engage in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • A passionate advocate for children and families
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust with diverse families
  • Comfort working independently in the community while staying connected to a team
  • Excellent documentation, organization, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, ethical, and strengths-based practice

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus at least 3 years of experience working with children and families
  • Ability to conduct home visits during family-available hours (including some evenings)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, Education, or related field
  • Experience in home visiting or early childhood programs
  • Familiarity with the Healthy Families America model
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Cape Verdean Creole
  • Infant Mental Health or Early Childhood endorsement

  • Status: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week)
  • Pay: $24/hour
  • Schedule: Primarily weekdays with some evening visits; occasional Saturdays for outreach events
  • Work Environment: In-person, community-based (not hybrid eligible)
  • Funding: Grant-funded position through RIDOH
