Salary: 47.00-55.00Job Description:Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to provide physician with necessary information for patient diagnosis and treatmentPrepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in proper working orderMaintain patient records and prepare written reports of findingsExplain procedures to patients and answer questions to reduce anxietyEnsure patient safety and comfort during proceduresMaintain knowledge of current trends, developments and technology in the fieldVascular Sonographer Qualifications & SkillsCertification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)Previous experience in a clinical settingStrong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathologyProficiency in using ultrasound machines and interpreting resultsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in fast-paced environmentsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesGraduate of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalentRDMS or RVT certification from the ARDMS or CCIMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular SonographerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to providing high-quality patient care
