Summary: The Building Receptionist will greet and interact with visitors in a positive and professional manner, including in person, on the phone, and in writing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the organization, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
- Provides basic information as requested by patrons
- Receives and routes visitors
- Ensures smooth and efficient operation of the reception area of the main office
- Sets daily priorities based on knowledge of the overall function of the office
- Provide general clerical support to the front office staff and assigned administrators.
- Makes appointments for visitors
- Caters to needs of visitors in making them comfortable while waiting for appointments
- Answers multiple in-coming phone calls simultaneously and efficiently route calls
- Accepts deliveries and mail, organizes them to be distributed to the correct recipients and ensures they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup
- Manages the building log of who is entering and exiting the building

Essential Functions/Qualifications/Requirements:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years experience in an office environment.

Technological Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in general use of a computer, the use of Email as a form of communication, and other job-specific equipment, software, and/or applications.
