Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend beverages that enhance their experience.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of drink recipes, beverage ingredients, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and tabs efficiently.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards by properly handling food and beverages, cleaning workstations regularly, and adhering to health regulations.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management proactively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and assist with food service when needed.
- Develop new beverage recipes or modify existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a lively atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries promptly, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems is essential for processing transactions efficiently.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, craft beer selection, and spirits is required.
- Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry roles will help you excel in delivering top-tier service.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices is necessary for maintaining health compliance.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.
