- POSITION SUMMARY
- The RN performs pre-hospital care in a holistic systematic way, produces quality patient care with optimal patient outcomes. Utilizes State of Alabama Protocols to deliver quality patient care. Incorporates data and information to improve patient care. Performs a comprehensive patient assessment by interpreting multiple, at times conflicting data, and proceeding to give patient care based on findings. Documents patient care activities and relays pertinent patient information to those who have a need to know.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Associates degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience- N/A
Required Registration/License/Certification- ACLS within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
- BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
- PALS within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
- Registered Nursing License
Preferred Education- Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred
Preferred Experience- Bachelors in Nursing
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- N/A
