- Provides specialized patient care and education for patients receiving radiation consults, follow-up appointments, and therapy.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum Experience
- 2 years of nursing experience in an oncology setting or completion in an internship/fellowship in oncology or a minimum of 5 years Registered Nursing experience
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
- ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
- Registered Nursing License
- Preferred Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing
- Preferred Experience
- 5 years of oncology nursing experience
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
- Oncology Nursing Certification or obtained within three years of hire within the department
