POSITION SUMMARY At East Alabama Health, our infusion pharmacy teams play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients undergoing complex treatments. We are seeking a Manager of Infusion Pharmacy Services who brings clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of regulatory standards. This role leads day-to-day operations across our infusion center pharmacies, ensuring compliance with USP and , Alabama Board of Pharmacy regulations, and Joint Commission standards. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with demonstrated leadership experience, a focus on oncology and IV room best practices, and is committed to fostering collaboration among pharmacy, nursing, and medical teams to drive optimal patient outcomes.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree Pharmacy or Pharm D is Required.
- Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 3 years Clinical Pharmacy.
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Active and clear Registered Pharmacist license and Controlled Substance Permit from the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
- Preferred Education
- Master’s degree in business and/or healthcare administration.
- Doctoral Degree Pharmacy, Pharm D, PGY-1, PGY-2 residency strongly preferred
- Preferred Experience
- 5 or more years Clinical Pharmacy
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
- N/A
- Other Requirements
- Knowledge of 797 and 800 guidelines, Comprehensive knowledge of Alabama Board of Pharmacy regulations, Federal regulations, and Joint Commission Regulations.
- Oncology and IV room experience.
