You’ll assist applicants through the qualification and leasing process, support resident relations, and help maintain high occupancy and strong community standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents, conducting tours and explaining community features and income restrictions
- Accurately process rental applications and verify eligibility according to the affordable program guidelines
- Prepare lease documents while maintaining thorough and organized records
- Assist with annual recertifications and compliance reporting
- Support resident retention and community engagement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with the property management team to meet leasing goals and compliance deadlines
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant, ideally within affordable income restricted housing
- Working knowledge of affordable housing regulations (income restricted)
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Experience using Entrata is preferred
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- Must be able to navigate the property for tours and inspections, including walking and climbing stairs
- Moving or lifting items less than 25lbs occasionally
