Account Coordinators work alongside Account Representatives and Account Managers to execute shipments, coordinate details, track freight in real time, and keep communication flowing between internal teams, customers, and carrier partners. You’ll be in the middle of the action solving problems, keeping operations running smoothly, and helping deliver the high level of service EASE customers expect. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support the execution of the EASE Logistics Customer Journey by following company service standards and assisting with day-to-day account activities.
- Assist Account Representatives and internal teams in managing customer shipments, ensuring loads are scheduled, tracked, and completed successfully.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to provide updates, resolve basic issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Utilize internal systems, tools, and reports to monitor shipments, update account information, and maintain accurate records.
- Work with Carrier Solutions to help coordinate load coverage, track shipment visibility, and ensure carrier compliance with customer requirements.
- Assist in reviewing data, reports, and KPIs to support operational efficiency and account performance.
- Help identify and escalate service issues, supporting problem resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with internal teams to ensure shipments and customer requests are handled efficiently.
- Support the account team in preparing information for bids, RFQs, and customer reporting as needed.
- Assist with basic account maintenance tasks including documentation, system updates, and operational follow-up.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant coursework, internships, or certifications may be considered in place of related experience.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required.
- Internship, part-time work, or campus leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience or interest in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred but not required.
