Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our team in the construction and heavy equipment operation sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including heavy equipment operation and utility locating. This role requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence in executing tasks on-site.
Duties
As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects. Your duties will include:
- Operating, excavators, and front loader trucks
- Reading blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Tail man, loader and general laborer
- Conducting utility locating to avoid underground hazards
- Assisting with pipeline installation and plumbing tasks
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed on the construction site
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals efficiently
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in construction site environments. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential, along with skills in:
- loader operation
- Backhoe and excavator usage
- Blueprint reading capabilities
- Utility locating procedures
- Forklift operation
