Environmental Construction Field Inspector – 1099 Contractor | Flexible Schedule | Work from Home
We are seeking a Construction Field Inspector 1099 contractor to join our team. This position offers flexible scheduling, hybrid work, and a mix of field-based inspections and independent reporting. This is a contract role; however, there is potential for the right candidate to grow into a full-time employee position in the future.
A currently active CESSWI, CPESC, CISEC or equivalent certification is required for this role. Any applicants that does not actively possess at least one of these certifications/credentials will not be considered for this position.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform stormwater inspections and site reviews at construction projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide clear, professional, face-to-face compliance guidance to customers.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: 4-year degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Active CESSWI, CPESC, CISEC or equivalent certification is required
- Knowledge of construction practices and compliance requirements preferred.
- High integrity, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- Strong face-to-face communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own schedule and work effectively in the field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
