Mobile Dog Groomer (GROOMBAR Van)
Earthwise Pet – Nutrition Center & Wellness Spa | West Des Moines, IA
Compensation: 50% commission plus 100% of tips
Bonus: Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus
Schedule: Full-time and part-time available
Job Summary
Earthwise Pet - West Des Moines/GROOMBAR is hiring an experienced Mobile Dog Groomer to join our growing team. You will operate a fully equipped, premium GROOMBAR grooming van and provide high-quality, stress-free grooming services to dogs in our community.

Responsibilities
- Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling
- Groom dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Evaluate coat and skin condition and apply appropriate grooming techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming van
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about services and pet health observations
- Provide additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
Requirements
- 2 or more years of professional dog grooming experience preferred (1 year minimum)
- Ability to groom all breeds and sizes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum age of 23 (for insurance purposes)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes
- Cat grooming experience is a plus
