Schedule
- Full-time position
- Saturday availability required
- Typical grooming volume of 6–7 dogs per day while maintaining exceptional quality and pet safety
Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Groom cats if experienced and comfortable doing so.
- Bathe, brush, dry, clip, scissor, de-shed, and style pets according to breed standards and client requests.
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other routine grooming services.
- Safely handle pets while minimizing stress and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming area.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding grooming preferences and pet health observations.
- Educate pet parents on coat maintenance, grooming schedules, and at-home care.
- Recommend grooming services and retail products that support each pet's skin, coat, and overall wellness.
- Work collaboratively with fellow groomers, bathers, and retail staff to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional grooming experience.
- Ability to complete full grooms independently.
- Excellent scissoring, clipper, and finishing skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Passion for animal welfare and exceptional pet care.
