Retail Sales Associate
EarthWise Pet Supply & Grooming in Leonardtown, MD is looking for a professional, friendly, Retail Sales Associates to join our team! Ideal candidate will have great compassion for animals, previous pet retail experience, a strong commitment to customer service, and excellent organizational skills.
EarthWise Pet is a leader in the pet franchise industry specializing in pet nutrition, education, and exceptional customer service. EarthWise Pet is a neighborhood pet store offering healthy pet foods, raw diets, treats, supplies, as well as self-wash and grooming services.
- Full time or Part Time hours negotiable
- Opportunities for advanced pet nutrition training and certifications
- Previous pet retail experience highly desirable
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Maximize sales and provide a consistent customer experience
- Communicate effectively with customers to determine current and future needs
- Develop exceptional relationships with potential and actual customers
- Become knowledgeable in the products carried in the store and be able to offer appropriate suggestions to customers based on individual circumstances.
- Report and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Help ensure customers have a safe and clean store environment
- Merchandise products in an attractive and aesthetically pleasing manner
- Assist staff in driving store initiatives, events, community outreach
- Protect the Earthwise Pet brand message and philosophies by maintaining a professional and personal appearance
- Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned
Must demonstrate the following
- A strong commitment to customer service
- Goal oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers, and co-workers
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds of merchandise.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
