What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at EarthStream Global?
We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join a large-scale Data Center construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile mission-critical facility alongside leading contractors in the industry.
The successful candidates will have a strong background in commercial or industrial electrical installations and experience working on large-scale construction projects. Data Center experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
- Install cable tray, conduit, trunking, and containment systems.
- Pull, terminate, and test power and control cables.
- Install switchgear, transformers, panels, UPS systems, and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Support commissioning and energization activities.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on site.
- Complete daily reports and documentation as required.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License/Certification.
- Proven experience on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Previous Data Center experience preferred.
- Experience with LV/MV electrical installations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on hyperscale Data Center projects.
- Experience installing critical power infrastructure.
