Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our property. Previous experience in hotel or custodial settings is preferred, but we welcome all applicants who are eager to learn and grow in the housekeeping field. This is a part-time/ hourly role, with the number of hours per week depending on the needs of the lodge and fluctuating seasonally.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services, including collecting, folding, and organizing linens and towels (our linens are washed off-site).
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by ensuring guest rooms are clean and comfortable during their stay.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
