The Woodworker will be assigned to a team that builds and installs custom cabinetry and woodwork, anticipating the production schedule to deliver the vehicle on-time, per the customer's specifications. Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with supervisor to ascertain assigned tasks to meet schedule requirements.
- Constructing and shaping wooden furniture and cabinets according to EarthRoamer specifications.
- Bench assembling and installation of cabinets in finished vehicles.
- Follow work plans.
- Meet schedule deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Bench build experience in a production environment is a must
- Installation experience is helpful.
- Knowledge and experience in woodworking equipment and processes (Millwork/Casework)
- Experience with power tool operation (chop saw, table saw, sanders, drills etc.)
- Experience with a variety of stains, glazes, sealers and topcoats
- Knowledge and experience of sanding veneers
- Fine joinery experience
- Experience with edge banding
- Must possess craftsman aptitude
- Willingness to learn and complete tasks correctly
- Ability to listen and take direction to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must have pride in work completed
- Work well individually and as a member of a team
Job Qualifications
- Preferred 5 years' experience in custom cabinetry and/or furniture building
- Ability to learn quickly
- Must have a positive attitude

- Clean criminal background
- Current driver's license and clean driving record
- Must provide job references
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school training desired
Job Details
- Current shift runs 7:00-3:30 Monday-Friday.
- This is a full-time position requiring consistent dependable attendance.
- This position is non-exempt, and therefore eligible for overtime pay.
- The position may require some work outside of normal business hours, paid as overtime.
- This position reports directly to the Fit and Finish Production Manager
- Starting wage $23-28 / hour base wage.
- Benefit Package totals $3-6/hour annualized:
- 10-12 paid Holidays (including week between Christmas/New Years)

Working Environment and Physical Demands
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Fast-paced production environment.
- Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, lifting (weights up to 75 lbs.) and stretching.
- Requires climbing or working on ladders or scaffold up to 10 feet high.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to safely operate a hand and power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Requires a normal range of hearing to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (machinery and alarms).
- Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to work with small objects, read small print, use computers.
