In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the financial operations of the credit union and play a key part in our continued success, positively impacting the lives of our members. Responsibilities:
- Manage Visa credit card case tracker processing and member follow-ups.
- Process and review incoming and outgoing wires.
- Perform daily Visa credit card audits and prepare daily and monthly reports.
- Responsible for credit card non-reissue monthly report.
- Download and analyze monthly reports using report analytics.
- Oversee credit card disputes and fraud reports, including charge offs and tracking.
- Completes the unclaimed property account review, manage member notifications complete the escheatment process and file reports with IDFPR.
- Perform annual ACH audit
- Completes the annual Christmas club 434 transfer audit.
- Reconcile loan and share trail balance.
- Assist with debit card fraud CM45 processing, year-end 1098, 1099, 1099 Misc & 941 forms, and the annual IRS SSN mismatch process.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve any problems that may arise.
- Provide a great experience for each member.
- Consistently comply with deadlines.
- Back up Accounting staff.as needed.
- Learn and continually improve as an Accounting Associate.
- Abide by ECU policies and procedures in regard to the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Act/Customer Identification Program and OFAC regulations.

Requirements
- Associate degree/bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business preferred
- 5 years accounting experience a plus
- Banking or Credit Union experience a plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Computer skills – Excel desired
- Initiative driven
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Exceptional organization skills
- Positive, friendly, people person
- Problem solver with exceptional number aptitude.
- Team player who is detailed oriented
- Dependable
- Effective and strong communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
