Responsibilities
- Answer incoming member calls regarding account services, online banking, loans, transfers, account maintenance, and other financial needs.
- Deliver exceptional member service while identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that meet members' needs.
- Assist members with online banking, the mobile app, and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Access member accounts to review balances, transactions, statements, and loan information.
- Research and resolve member account concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Meet established service, sales, and performance goals.
- Promote ECU products and services, including loan opportunities.
- Assist members with initiating Consumer and Mortgage loan applications.
- Identify and escalate suspicious activity or potential fraud risks.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of member information
- Contribute to achieving team performance goals.
- Create a positive, professional experience with every member interaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
- Two or more years of Credit Union or banking experience preferred.
- Previous Call Center experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable identifying member needs and cross-selling appropriate products and services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- NMLS licensed or ability to obtain licensing
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Dependable, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
