Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan carpentry work
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for construction projects
- Install framing, walls, floors, roofing structures, doors, and windows
- Perform finish carpentry including trim, molding, cabinetry, and custom woodwork
- Inspect and repair existing structures, identifying and resolving issues as needed
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of framing, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry techniques
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
