Overview
The Director of Brand Strategy & Marketing plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the brand strategy across a portfolio of spa and wellness manufacturing companies. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution — driving programs, campaigns, and initiatives that build strong brands and deliver measurable business results.
This leader will champion each brand’s positioning, visual identity, voice, and customer experience — ensuring alignment with company growth goals and authentic resonance with the luxury wellness market. This role requires a visionary, execution-minded leader who can inspire and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver on the brand’s promise and objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in both planning and doing — guiding long-term vision while managing the day-to-day work needed to bring that vision to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategy that aligns with business objectives, market opportunities, and consumer insights.
- Translate strategic plans into clear, actionable programs — including campaigns, partnerships, content initiatives, and GTM product launches.
- Define and refine brand & product positioning and value propositions, ensuring they stand out in a competitive marketplace.
- Oversee brand identity and communication standards, maintains consistency in messaging, design, and experience across all touchpoints.
- Drive integrated marketing initiatives in collaboration with creative, digital, and product teams to build awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Monitor and manage brand equity and performance, using key health metrics to strengthen perception and loyalty.
- Leverage market data and consumer insights to guide strategy, product innovation, and campaign execution.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Development, Digital, Creative, and Operations to ensure aligned and effective execution.
- Establish and report on KPIs to measure brand and campaign effectiveness, optimizing based on results.
- Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows, enhancing agility, and ensuring scalable processes that reduce risk and inefficiency.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, preferably in spa, beauty, wellness, or luxury consumer goods industries.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 DOE. Company bonus.
