We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Review and process material requisitions
- Once authorized create purchase orders and distribute to vendors
- Communicate via phone & email with the vendors and internal customers
- Administer subcontractor processes and put work out to bid
- Negotiate contract rates for external services and purchasing of materials
- Contract all 3rd party technicians outside of Field Nation platform
- Control delivery of various items required for construction site installation processes
- Negotiate national deals for products and services we purchase
- Create and manage purchase orders and documents related to 3rd party service vendors
- Coordinate the process of purchase order receipt, invoice application for both MYISIS and SAGE PO
- Assist with ad hoc assignments as assigned by supervisor
Who YOU are
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance on site
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field is a plus
- Strong Excel skills
- Organizational skills
- Proven ability to carry out purchasing functions
