Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Advisor to support and guide our Head of Marketing. This is a lightweight, advisory role (~5 hours/week) focused on providing strategic direction, mentorship, and high-level marketing insight—not day-to-day execution.You will act as a trusted thought partner, helping refine strategy, pressure-test ideas, and elevate our marketing approach as we continue to grow.
What You'll Do
Provide high-level marketing strategy guidance across key channels (ecommerce, retention, brand, and growth)
Act as a sounding board for campaign ideas, initiatives, and priorities
Help prioritize efforts and identify highest-impact opportunities
Offer mentorship and guidance to the Head of Marketing
Review performance and provide insight-driven recommendations
Bring an outside perspective and share relevant industry best practices
What You Won't Do
No direct management of team members
No day-to-day execution or channel ownership
No requirement to be “on call” or embedded full-time
This is a strategic advisory role, not an operational one.
Ideal Background
10 years of experience in marketing, ideally in DTC, beauty, or CPG
Previous experience as a Head of Marketing, VP Marketing, or CMO
Strong understanding of growth, retention, and brand strategy
Proven ability to think both strategically and pragmatically
Experience advising or mentoring marketing leaders is a plus
