We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Student Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student seeking a flexible schedule that can be customized around academic demands. You will be essential in maintaining an organized warehouse and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate will be responsible for general warehouse operations, primarily focused on order flow and inventory accuracy:
- Order Fulfillment (Picking & Staging): Accurately pick items according to order sheets and stage them for shipment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with the manual loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments from delivery vans and trucks.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized work area, ensuring all products are stored in their designated locations.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventory checks to reconcile stock levels.
- General Duties: Assist with breaking down boxes, disposing of trash, and other general warehouse tasks as needed.
Schedule and Compensation
- Flexible Hours: We offer a customizable schedule of 3-5 hours per day, 2-5 days per week. We will work with you to establish a consistent weekly schedule that accommodates your class schedule.
- Compensation: $20/hour
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently Enrolled as a college student (preferred, but all reliable applicants will be considered).
- Reliability: Must be highly dependable, punctual, and committed to a consistent schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds comfortably and safely.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy for picking orders and counting inventory.
- Team Player: Ability to take direction and work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
