Description:JOB OVERVIEWThe role of the Maintenance Technician is responsible for Facility repairs and maintenance of all Wrappers, Forklifts, Dock levelers, High Speed doors and activities relating to the Facility.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMust be able to use tools and equipment for problem solving facility repairs and maintenance.Operate battery powered industrial equipment such as jacks and forkliftsOperate Stationary powered equipment such as plastic and cardboard compactors, balers, stretch wrap machine and battery changing equipment.Operate a scissor man-liftMust be able to read and understand documented process and written instructions.Must be able to write and record legible, accurate and timely documentation of work assignments on workorders and daily logs.Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights of at least 13 feet 6 inches.Must continuously protect the environment when working with contaminating substances.Ensure facility is upkept according to company’s requirementsRequirements:REQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years of warehouse distribution experience with the use of industrial power equipment.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSA high school diploma or GEDPERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTKnowledgeKnowledge of Lock Out Tag Out proceduresSafe Work PracticesSkillsProblem-solving skillsRead and understand electrical schematics.Read and understand repair manuals.
