A store clerk is responsible for the multiple functions needed to carry out daily activities in the conventient store environment. These activities include but are not limited to:
- Cashier and point of sale operator
- Stocking of items on the sale's floor and in the coolers
- Product questions and knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of promotions and programs being carried out by the company
- Food prep
- Cash and drawer management to ensure balancing days
- General cleaning and organizing in and out of store
- Providing a fast and friendly environment for the customers
