Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with seniors and providing personalized care in a family-like setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility)
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assist residents with medication reminders or medication assistance according to Washington State regulations and delegation, when applicable
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe home environment
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and social engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the Registered Nurse and other team members
- Treat all residents with dignity, patience, and respect
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Eligible to pass Washington State background check requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with dementia is preferred but not required
