This is a hybrid position based in Plano, TX, with a mix of on-site activities at partner locations and some work-from-home tasks such as planning, reporting, and communications. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating program schedules, facilitating workshops and group sessions, and supporting youth participants through mentoring and guidance. The Coordinator will collaborate with staff and community partners to recruit participants, manage registrations, and maintain program materials and resources. Qualifications
- Experience in Youth Programs and Youth Development, with a demonstrated ability to engage and support young people in educational or community settings.
- Proficiency in Youth Mentoring, including building trust, setting goals with participants, and providing constructive, strengths-based guidance.
- Strong Program Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination with partners, and basic data tracking for program evaluation.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal facilitation, active listening, and professional written communication with youth, caregivers, and partners.
- Understanding of or strong interest in financial literacy, financial education, or related topics (training can be provided).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Plano, TX, managing both in-person program delivery and remote administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, education, youth services, or community-based organizations is preferred.
- Relevant education (e.g., coursework or degree in education, social work, youth development, or a related field) or equivalent experience is beneficial.
