Duties
- Assist with supervising children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Support classroom management by helping organize materials, set up learning stations, and maintain cleanliness.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including preschool and toddler care routines.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Help facilitate positive behavior management strategies to encourage good social skills and cooperation among children.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance under supervision.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and children's progress.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or related settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for caring for young children.
- Strong organizational skills to support classroom activities and maintain safety standards.
