What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant ECEAP Teacher position at Early Learning Program?
ECEAP expansion team is looking for a classroom assistant who will provide high quality, comprehensive child development services to preschool children and their families. The successful applicant will support lead in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, ensure each family receives continued support, document child progress/activities/outcomes utilizing TSG, and other assessment tools, etc...
Additional functions include:
- Builds positive relationships with children.
- Plans guidance strategies for children that are individualized, consistent, and developmentally appropriate.
- Assists other personnel as requested.
Education:
Applicant MUST meet one of the following education requirements:
- Have or plan to enroll in an ECE certificated program with a minimum of 12 credits for completion of an initial stackable certificate.
Must have or be willing to immediately obtain upon hire the following:
* Cleared Portable Background Check from the Department of Children Youth & Families
* MERIT Registration
* Current TB test
* Current First Aid/CPR/Bloodborne Pathogen
* 30 Hours STARS
* Food Handlers Permit
* Proof of Measles Vaccine, as required by DCYF
Salary negotiable, depends on education and experience; 40 hours/week, medical and vacation benefits.
