We're Hiring: Director of Human Resources | ELC Broward

The Early Learning Coalition of Broward County (ELC Broward) is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and grow our people function. This is a high-impact role for a credentialed HR professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all HR functions: recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation & benefits, and HRIS
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO, CEO, and executive leadership team
- Build and develop a high-performing HR team aligned with ELC Broward's mission
- Drive organizational culture, employee engagement, and workforce development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR management and leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role; nonprofit or government-funded sector preferred
- SPHR (HRCI) or SHRM-SCP credential strongly preferred
- Nonprofit, public sector, or government-funded organization experience a plus
- Someone who can think big and do the work, a true player-coach HR leader

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
