What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age teacher Assistant/van driver position at Early Learning Centers of Rhode Island?
- Drive children to and from school, including field trips in the summer.
- Have a valid license, including a license or willing to get a chauffeur license.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Develop, plan and supervise activities during school vacation weeks, and other days off from school.
- Responsible for supervising and demonstrating the ability to set and maintain limits for children using positive reinforcement
- Maintain the necessary records involving attendance, proper release procedures, program registrations and documents required for state licensing
- Ensure that the proper procedures regarding vehicle use are always followed
- Responsible for attending staff meetings/events.
- following all DHS state regulations.
- completion of a minimum of 24 hours training per year relevant to the care of school age children
- closing the center down and with light cleaning duties.
- Hours: 8:00-5:00 or 12:00-5:00 M-F
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
