Position Summary
The Host/Hostess is the first and last smiling face our guests see when visiting Early Girl. A regular day will include:
Energetically greet our guests with you love of food and hospitality, maintaining the wait list and wait times and anticipate what you could do to make everyone's day better.
Compensation:
- $10.00 per hour plus tips, tip out and benefits. $17 hour on average.
- Casual attire
- 1/2 off shift meals
- We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter We also close early for special employee events regularly.
- Did we mention no late nights?
Essential Functions
- Energetically Greet our guests with you love of food and hospitality
- present menus to guests, inform them of specials and soups
- Maintain the waiting list
- Take guest information and quote wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Clean, organize and stock menus at host area
- Interact with guests upon arrival and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
- Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties
- Fill to go orders, if applicable
- Help maintain restrooms throughout shift
- And weather permitting, play in the bubbles!
